Horsetail Herb, Organic
A perpetual grass that is dimorphic, having a rich stem in the spring which bites the dust back and is supplanted by a sterile stem in late-spring. The fruitful stem is caramel in shading, shorter and unbranched. The sterile stem is green with whorls of needle-like leaves and jointed stems. Otherwise called scouring surge, shavegrass, bottlebrush or pewter wort. Our horsetail comprises of the clean, flying parts gathered in the mid year months amongst June and August.
